The BioComplex section at the Department of Physics studies Biophysics and Complex Systems over a wide range, spanning from macroscopic fluid flows dominated by vortices through microfluidic flows and in biological microchannels down to intracellular flows and dynamics, bio-mimetic membranes, and the structure and function of proteins. Experimentally, our main tools are high speed video, optical stretching and Plasmonic supported optical spectroscopy. Members of the section fluid dynamics (Fluid•DTU) teaches courses in nonlinear dynamics, continuum physics, biophysics and spectroscopy. | |
